Natalie + Jimmy

Wowie, it seems like this time of year engagement sessions are coming up all over the place! A lot of my weddings are in the summer time, so winter/spring is great for these shoots! Natalie & Jimmy found me at the Santa Barbara Bridal Expo in January. They actually won a free engagement session with me from a drawing that day! After meeting up with me and getting to talking, it turned out we lived so close and had gone to all the same churches! We have a lot of the same friends as well! After about 2 minutes of talking to them we felt like old friends. Everytime we get together it is so much fun and we are laughing constantly. They're shoot was a piece of cake because they are so fun together. I am so very glad we found eacother! Really looking forward to their crazy wedding this June!! A few pictures below :) ....

Unekbride.com ("unique bride") is a fantastic website specifically aiding brides and grooms getting married in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties, and eventually San Luis Obispo! I met Josh, one of the owners at the Santa Barbara Bridal Expo in January, and he told me a little bit about the site. I have hung out with Josh and his wonderful wife Gina a few times and they are just great! I finally got to purchase an ad with their website and I am really excited about it! It just got put up today, and also a Spanish Hills wedding of mine is going to be featured in the photo album on their website under the Real Weddings section just next week! It really is an awesome website if you are looking for venues and vendors that are unique and a little edge-y. Take a look around the site if you get a chance, there is a lot of excellent info!!

Okay, so I did a shoot on monday and it was the most fun I've ever had at an engagement shoot! Justin & Heather came all the way up to Ventura from Newport Beach. They are getting married at Lake Tahoe in 3 short months! I am so excited about their wedding! I gave them the secret tour of Ventura to the coolest spots I know. They were up to go anywhere! We ended our day at the best Mexican food place in town, Corrales! Probably one of the best days of my life... photos, then burrittos. I love it! Anyways, here are a few from our day:

I can't believe it is half way through February 2007, that is nuts! So sorry for not keeping up on the blog, I have been really busy taking a few classes to better my picture taking and editing skills! Tons of fun but no time for blogging. Here are a few pics from a shoot that we did at Montana De Oro in Los Osos on Saturday. It was so much fun! Corrin & Josh have such a great sense of humor and they were up for anything. Their love was magnetic, you could see their eyes light up whenever they looked at eachother. Much more photos coming soon, stay tuned!
