james + jenny engagement

james and jenny were so fun to work with. they seemed very different but made the absolutely perfect match! their love was magnetic, and they drew out the fun in eachother. it was adorable how much james made jenny crack up! Gracie and I were definitely laughing the whole time too :D if the weather the day of the wedding is as gorgeous as it was for our shoot I'll just fall over dead! i can't wait till the wedding! woohoo!

Hey everyone! I wanted to put up a few pics I took the other night of my friend Elyse. We used to hang out all the time but I moved to San Luis Obispo and she moved to LA so the times we see eachother are becoming few and far between. I live in Ventura again, and she was visiting her mom in Oxnard for a few days, so we finally got together again after a long time! Before heading up to church we took a few shots of her for fun, taking advantage of the soft evening light! She is a beautiful girl inside and out :D

Brooke + Daniel Engagement

Gracie and I had so much fun working with this ADORABLE couple last week. We met up at a secluded private beach in Santa Barbara on a beautiful sunny day (is it ever NOT perfect weather in SB??) and got to 'work'. Sure we tripped on a few giant rocks and almost got washed away a few times but it was worth it. Brooke and Daniel are getting married this Septemeber in Santa Barbara at Alice Keck Park, with a reception to follow at the Miramonte Hotel. They were a blast to shoot with, always making eachother laugh (not to mention cracking me and Gracie up too!!!). There is just something about high school sweethearts that melts my litle heart *sigh*. Here are a few shots from our session...
