kiss seminar {no, its not what you think}

about a month ago I met up with the famous larsons (my brother in law mike and my sister rachel) for a seminar that
kiss wedding books was putting on. i am super impressed with their company and looking forward to using kiss wedding books next year! anyways, heres a picture of us at the seminar. apparently rachel new the picture was being taken but i was too focused to pay attention, lol. mike did a great job speaking, go mike!




p.s. if anyone reading this is in the santa barbara area, you gotta come by reality carpinteria tonight. there is a motivational message by 'heavenly man' about the persecuted church in china, and its going to be ridiculous. i'm looking forward to getting whipped into shape.

christy + daryl {santa barbara, ca}

christy + daryl had such an awesome wedding!!! though it had been foggy in SB for days on end, my prayers were answered for a beautiful sunny day. there was elegance and class at every turn, and it was a party from start to finish. they had some ridiculously great vendors, i will add in some links as soon as possible. the ceremony was lovely and the reception was gorgeous and so much fun, both taking place at saint barbaras church. christy had an old fashioned- meets modern ensemble and daryl looked dapper as always with his big smile :) i picked out a million few favorites to post, i may add in a few more in the near future. as for now, take a look!

this is so true. so many times i worry about things then look back and remember hey wait that thing i worried about NEVER EVEN ACTUALLY HAPPENED. worry is such a waste of time. praise the Lord for His peace that transcends our little scope of understanding, should we just reach out and receive it from Him.

sarah + jalil engagement {santa barbara, ca}

i met up with sarah and jalil in newport while i was in town shooting breanne's family shoot, and we hit it off right away. sarah mentioned something about being over prepared and over organized, and a little obsessed about it, and i knew we'd be friends forever! they are such a great couple for each other, they fit in each other's arms so perfectly, and their personalities click just right. we shot in the evening in santa barbara and the next morning at firestone winery in santa ynez. we ran into some cloudy weather, but i love how the photos came out with the soft light :D they are getting married at the canary hotel next year, it is going to be AMAZING! heres my favorite photos from their session...
