as gracie and i were in the bay area with vanessa and steven august 1st, ashley and lizzy were hanging out shooting kris and kristins beeeeautiful wedding!! this is the first time that 'annajoyphoto' has gone multi-site on the same day. woop woop! i am so proud of the girls, and i think they did a beautiful job capturing the feel of the day for kris and kristin. you can watch their slideshow by clicking below- it is rather long, cause, man- do those girls shoot A LOT! but its definitley worth it :) enjoy!

adventures with ashley {ventura-ish, ca}

so as you may or may not know, my girl ashley works for annajoyphoto, but its slowly starting her own business (woop woop!). She and Liz shot Kris & Kristin's wedding a few weeks back (slideshow coming tonight or tomorrow mornin!!). Ashley is the sweetest girl ever, she came from Georgia to do photography in CA and every step of her journey since has inspired me so much. We finally got to hang out since our schedules mellowed out, and we took some photos to prove it.

my florist cafe has a super trippy bathroom. ashley insisted i take a look.



we took a 'delightful' drive and saw this spider in the road from like a mile away- it was the hugest thing i've ever seen- i think it was maybe bigger than a rat. i screamed and jumped around while ashley took photos then we drove away extremely fast. i was so sure it was going to walk right into my car with its giant, capable legs.

how cool was this whole weekend? oh, only the most amazzzzzingest weekend ever! gracie and i had such an awesome time with these two and their family and friends. one of my favorite parts was steven saying 'grooms dudes' instead of groomsmen, i think this trend should be more widely adopted! anyways- you gotta check out their slideshow... maybe my favorite photos i've taken yet, woop woop!
